If it's news, it'll be here.

Well, that might be a bit dramatic for a blog title, but we're really excited for the new board editor! The editor is the part where you type in your questions and answers - the part that has the buttons where you can choose bold, italics, etc.

The short version is simply this: we weren't happy with the speed (read: performance), clunkiness, and lack of extensibility of our old editor, called CKEditor. After doing a good bit of research, we settled on one that mimics the editor found on, aptly called the Medium.js Editor.

Is your FlipQuiz PRO subscription reimbursed by your school? Has it been a pain to submit your payment information to get reimbursed?

Whether you answered "yes" to either of those questions or not, we've got good news.... You can access your payment history online now!

For when you just want the school to pay for your membership.

It's Here!

That's right. It's been a long time coming, but we've finally added FlipQuiz PRO Teams as an upgrade option. We've had several support requests over the last year asking for a way to upgrade multiple licenses with one billing account. Today, we've opened up the ability for that to happen.

Yea. That old dashboard page? What a let down.

So you hear about FlipQuiz from a friend or you find the site at Google. You see the home page and it looks pretty nice. You get a good sense of what the site is about and it looks helpful, so you sign up. Everything is going well until you get to the dashboard.... Is this the same site? Did the site's creators forget all about the one page that EVERYONE will see when they sign up or log in?

If that article title doesn't get you all excited.. well.. we can't blame you. But it's great news for FlipQuiz in a couple of ways.

While FlipQuiz remains the product of one person, another pair of hands is beginning to do work on the site. (Someone with a greater understanding of back-end technologies.) This new relationship is the best byproduct of the new payment system.

Just so we're all on the same page, we'll be running a bigger contest once everyone is back to school, but for the early folks, we wanted to do a little something special. And we're keeping it simple.

You'll need a Twitter account for this one. If you don't have Twitter, go sign up. It's free and great for PD!

It happens every year. You say farewell to students you've had all year, proud to have filled those little brains with tons of knowledge. Then you pack up your things and head to the beach/pool/lake house - you get the idea. It's summertime!

All too soon, though, summer is over and it's back to the classroom. You love your job, so you're excited to get back to molding young minds, but you were left by students who learned all you had to offer and now you have to start over. But what do these students already know? Why is it important to find out? How do you find out?

Recently, we launched a restructuring of our quiz boards to clean up the site and help boost performance. In conjunction with that, we alluded to the flexibility to now add some other features we've wanted to add for a while.

Well, today we're making good on the promise of new features with the first of many: reordering questions!
